The Benaroya South Hill Business & Technology Center in Puyallup will soon house the headquarters of Builders Capital in early 2022, according to a press release from The Benaroya Company.

Builders capital is a private money lender specializing in providing funds for residential construction projects. Its headquarters are moving from Seattle, according to the press release.

The move to Puyallup is necessary as Builders Capital now operates in 45 states and needs more space, according to the press release. The new office will cover 20,332 square feet and house more than 130 local employees.

“Surrounded by regional builders and banks, Puyallup is a great place to find the best talent we need to support our borrowers with the best service wherever they are,” said Beth Glein, COO of Builders Capital.

Builders Capital has helped finance more than 30,000 single and multi-family homes in the United States since 2009, according to the press release. It is “one of the largest private construction lenders in the country.”

Builders Capital already has an office in Puyallup at 2910 South Meridian # 310. Other sales offices are located in places such as Boise, San Diego, and Orlando.
